Approx. component budget: Rs. 8,000 - 14,000
Build a robot that crawls inside pipes and measure its traction, climbing angle and speed.
A three-arm wheeled crawler with spring-loaded legs that press on the pipe wall, geared motors, and a small camera with LED light, for pipes of 100-150 mm.
Mechanism design, traction and robotics, with inspection technology used in pipelines and ducts.
CAD, 3D printing, Arduino, ESP32-CAM or a small camera. Test in clean plastic pipes first.
