Objective

Study how fibre type and fibre percentage change tensile, flexural and impact strength.

Hand-layup moulds, jute/banana/coir fibre mats, epoxy or polyester resin and cutting tools to make test specimens.

Materials science, testing standards and sustainable materials.

Needs a UTM and impact tester (college lab or outside lab, may cost extra). Check access first. Wear gloves and a mask with resin.
