Objective

Find power coefficient (Cp) vs tip speed ratio for both blade designs.

What you will build

Two rotor designs (3D-printed or sheet-metal blades), shaft with bearings, stand, small generator, tachometer and a controlled wind source (blower/fan).

Results you can expect

What you will learn

Aerodynamics, turbomachinery basics and renewable energy testing.

Tools and notes

Excel/Python; optional CFD. Use a controlled wind source, as outdoor wind varies too much.
