Drive a DC motor in forward and reverse, in motoring and braking, and measure speed regulation and energy recovered during braking.
An H-bridge chopper with MOSFET drivers, speed and current feedback, a PI controller on a microcontroller, a DC motor with a load, and a supply that can absorb or return regenerative energy.
Chopper drives, closed-loop speed control and regenerative braking, the base of EV and industrial drives.
Arduino/STM32, MOSFET gate drivers, tachometer, current sensors, Excel. Use a current limit and a fuse, and a battery or capacitor bank that can accept the braking energy.
