Objective

Measure how power transfer efficiency changes with coil gap, misalignment, frequency and coil size.

What you will build

A transmitter and receiver coil pair with a resonant capacitor network, a high-frequency driver (ZVS or half-bridge) and a rectifier at the output charging a small battery or an LED load.

Results you can expect

What you will learn

Inductive coupling, resonance, high-frequency drivers and the working of wireless chargers for phones and EVs.

Tools and notes

Oscilloscope (college lab), LCR meter, copper wire, Excel. Keep power low (under 20 W) and do not place metal objects near the coils while running.

Resume points from this project

Replace [x] with your own measured results. Write only what you really did.
