Objective

Guarantee that one seat is never sold twice, even under heavy simultaneous requests.

A booking service for seats in a hall or bus where many users try to book at once, with temporary seat holds that expire if payment is not completed.

Transactions and isolation levels, optimistic vs pessimistic locking, caching with Redis, and load testing.

Python/Django or Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Locust or k6. This is a very good project to explain in interviews.
