Online Exam Platform with Anti-Cheating Checks

Objective

Build a reliable exam system that handles many users at once and reduces simple cheating without invading privacy.

What you will build

A website where teachers create timed MCQ tests and students attempt them, with randomised questions, auto-grading, a result dashboard and activity checks such as tab-switch detection.

Results you can expect

• Load test with 200 simulated students
• Auto-save of answers on network drop
• Score calculation accuracy of 100 percent on a test set
• And logs of tab switches per attempt

What you will learn

Role-based login, timers on the server side, database design, handling load, and the privacy limits of proctoring.

Tools and notes

React or plain JavaScript, Node.js/Express or Django, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Locust or k6 for load testing. Do not record cameras without clear consent.
