Objective

Build a low-cost prosthetic hand and measure its grip force, grasp types and closing speed.

What you will build

A 3D-printed hand with tendon-driven fingers, servo motors or a linear actuator, a button or EMG input, and force sensors in the fingertips.

Results you can expect

What you will learn

Biomechanics, finger mechanism design, actuators and sensors, and assistive technology.

Tools and notes

3D printing, Arduino, servos, force sensors. A prototype for learning only, not for clinical use.

Resume points from this project

Replace [x] with your own measured results. Write only what you really did.
