Diagram (illustration, not to scale)

Objective

Measure how much energy can be recovered when braking from different speeds and compare it with the energy used to accelerate.

What you will build

A bicycle or a bench-mounted wheel with a hub motor or generator, a battery or supercapacitor, a controller, and sensors for speed, current and voltage.

Results you can expect

What you will learn

Regenerative braking, energy conversion and EV drivetrain basics.

Tools and notes

Arduino with current/voltage sensors, Excel. Use proper fuses and insulated wiring, and test on a stand or safe flat ground.

Resume points from this project

Replace [x] with your own measured results. Write only what you really did.
